Love Bytes

About

When you’re stuck as a werewolf, life is…complex.

Doctor Cynthia Adams, computer scientist extraordinaire, is successful by any measure. She’s a millionaire with her own company and she’s the best there is in artificial intelligence. But she’s also a lonely nerd and she’s trapped in werewolf form in a world where some would prefer her kind to be anywhere else but here. When her best friend hijacks her to a ballroom dance party, her life takes an unlikely twist as she’s assigned to the handsome Alex Rogers, the best ballroom dancing instructor in Atlanta and the only one who could teach an eight-foot-tall werewolf to Waltz.

But Alex has challenges of his own: a struggling ballroom, more bills than he can possibly deal with, and a career that he hates. He can’t afford to give up teaching Cynthia and despite his best intentions, she is becoming much more than just another student. Add werewolf haters and a powerful intelligence that knows why Cynthia and thousands of others have Turned, and life gets very complicated—and dangerous.

Is love measured by the megabyte? And will Cynthia and Alex learn it’s the best algorithm there is?

Forced proximity, found family, slow burn, and spicy. Cozy...until it's not.

Praise for this book

“Love Bytes surprised me in the best way possible. What starts as a quirky concept about technology and romance quickly becomes an emotional, human story about connection, loss, and what it means to truly know someone. W.D. Robertson writes with humor and heart. I found myself smiling one moment and reflecting deeply the next.”

“I didn’t expect a sci-fi romance to make me laugh this much or think this hard. Robertson’s writing is sharp, modern, and filled with warmth. He takes familiar ideas about love in the digital age and spins them into something refreshingly original. By the end, I was both entertained and a little bit emotional—the perfect combination.”

“Beauty and the Beast meets The Big Bang Theory with emotional depth and bite.”

Definitely not your normal romance but man was it good. I just really enjoyed the main characters and their chemistry and interactions. The author knows how to write characters with real feelings. It was a very fun read and hope to see more from this author.
